Waste separation & disposal

In Füssen, waste is separated into organic waste, residual waste, packaging with a green dot in the yellow or green bag and waste glass. See also the “poster” of the waste disposal company Ostallgäu below.

The waste garbage cans are available on the property in the Gartenstadel. (Organic waste: brown garbage can, residual waste: black garbage can, temporary storage of yellow/green bags please in the Gartenstadel on the right). Paper and cardboard please in the large blue paper garbage can in the Stadel on the left.

Small amounts of waste glass please deposit in the lower brown baskets on the left side of the kitchen shelf for disposal as part of the final cleaning.

If the waste glass deposit basket is not sufficient, please take your waste glass to the glass container, (e.g. next to parking lot “Morisse” or also at the V-Markt both Kemptner Straße).

The garbage cans are emptied very early on Wednesdays in the old town, so we ask you to put the garbage cans outside your front door on Tuesday evenings after 18:00 and put them back in the Gartenstadel on Wednesdays. We are happy to take care of this for you, but you must allow us access to the Gartenstadel during your stay by briefly informing us.

Finally, an important note on the disposal of hygiene products. Please do not dispose of tampons, pads, wet wipes, etc. in the toilets. We keep extra small black hygiene boxes with garbage bags next to the toilets as well as trash cans ready for you and would like to urgently ensure a functioning sewage system for you and other guests.
